Pyromorphite$180.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A dense manganese-rich black miniature matrix (most likely Coronadite) hosts many small, but well-formed camouflage-green prismatic Pyromorphite crystals. This association with manganese oxides is rare from Hard Rigg Edge but this is an earlier specimen, collected during the early 1990s. Under magnification the Pyromorphite crystals present quite an unusual form, with slightly stripy appearance and stepped seed-like shapes. Ex Malcolm Southwood Collection, no. MS.1994.002 and with a J. George Wilson label.
