Classic Bad Ems in style, this cabinet-sized display specimen of Pyromorphite from Mercur mine is a real beauty. Liberally carpeted in delicate freestanding sprays of pale brown coloured acicular Pyromorphite crystals the ridge-like Quartz-sulphide matrix sits naturally for an excellent display. With little damage of note, the somewhat silky Pyromorphite crystals present wonderfully well. The longest crystals are those that are bunched parallel acicular aggregates, sheaf-like in form, reaching up to 8 mm in length. Ex Martin Kershaw Collection.
