Sparkling micro crystals of purple fluorite across one side of matrix with minor barite. This is the variety known as Blue John. Blue John fluorite is a rare variety of fluorite found only in Derbyshire, England, known for its distinctive curved bands of purple, blue, and yellow. This is mostly massive material, crystals are not terribly common.
