This is classic Ladywash Fluorite in a great, dome-like cabinet-size display. The highly distinctive grey-white intergrown cubes of Fluorite contain the typical small golden Chalcopyrite inclusions with minor Sphalerite also in association. There is light chipping to a couple of the corners of Fluorite crystals, but this is very minor and aesthetically this is a superb example from this most famous of Derbyshire Fluorite occurrences. It comes from Roger Harker's collection (bearing his characteristic detailed handwritten label) and is recorded as having been collected in May 1973 by John A. Jones.
