Scheelite crystal, 7 cm, from a Highway 38 roadcut, Sharbot Lake, Ontario, Canada. Prospector Don Silver and I visited this locality in 1963 on the old “Kick and Push” railway on the south edge of Sharbot Lake. We didn’t know what this was immediately, but it was quite hefty and a check for fluorescence revealed the typical spectacular fluorescence of scheelite.
