Fluorite with triangular quartz growths, 12.3 cm, from the Surprise mine, Cookes Peak District, Luna County, New Mexico. This is a very unusual specimen in that the quartz growths are crystallographically aligned between the first generation blue cubes and the second generation green/purple octahedrons.
