Amethyst scepters, "The Crown of San Pedro," 18.2 cm, from the Scepter King Pocket, Garnet Ridge, San Pedro mine, New Placers District, Santa Fe County, New Mexico; collected with Jerry Simmons. This is the best specimen that came out of a 3-meter-long pocket that produced over 2,000 amethyst scepters.
