Amethyst
Amethyst scepter with chlorite inclusions, 6.1 cm, from the San Pedro mine, New Placers District, Santa Fe County, New Mexico; collected with Jerry Simmons. This was one of only two specimens found in a huge 5-meter-long pocket, the other one being a small 2-cm single amethyst crystal.
