Chalcopyrite on quartz, 12 cm, from the Moores Station quarry, Hopewell Township, New Jersey; collected in July 2010. This specimen was discovered in a vein with calcite and chalcopyrite, later revealing quartz underneath the chalcopyrite after acid-etching. Alan and Elise Benson collection; Jeff Scovil photo.
