Fluorite
Fluorite, 14.5 cm, from the Ice Cleft, Weisseck, Lower Tauern Mountains, Austria. The largest crystal on this piece measures 5.5 cm and is the largest fluorite crystal found in the Ice Cleft. The cubes have a remarkable transparent green color in their outer zones and are blue in the cores. The cube faces are slightly curved inward, causing the reflections to change constantly as it is moved. Only a few like this were found. Found in August, 2014. Reinhold Bacher collection and photo.
