Fluorite, 6.7 cm, from Weisseck, Lower Tauern Mountains, Austria. Found in July 2020. The surfaces are stepped with excellent luster. The purple color exists only in the outermost part of the crystal, with the interior being completely colorless. The colorless area exhibits an intense orange-red fluorescence under shortwave ultraviolet lighting. Reinhold Bacher collection and photo.
