Elbaite, 5 cm, from the Ochua mine, Karibib, Namibia. One of a group of multi-colored tourmalines found at the Ochua mine in 1994. Accompanied by Hannes Kleinans, Bill Barker, and Wayne Thompson. One boulder with watermelon tourmalines from this find is now at the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals, Hillsboro, Oregon. Photo by Jeff Scovil.
