Gypsum, 6 cm, from Ellsworth, Ohio. Collected by the author in 1953 during their first solo field trip near their home. The hillside contained gypsum crystals embedded in gray mud. This piece is a twinned crystal and was the author's first self-collected specimen of merit. Photo by Jeff Scovil.
