Tourmaline, 3.5 cm, from the Mika prospect, Rangkul pegmatites, Eastern Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan. Ex Zarif Dzhuraev; Claudia Watson photo. Geologist Anatoly Skrigitil’s report on the Kukurt area was published in Mir Kamnya in 1996. The prospect is named for his son. Anatoly disappeared in Moscow March 1999.
