Quartz with calcite, 11.2 cm, from Zederhaus Valley, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria. The prism faces have a white coating, but the termination faces are bright and lustrous. From a find by Reinhold Bacher in March 2003. Lapis cover, January 2011; Christian Hager photo.
