This quite large and pure Azurite specimen, dominated by a long finely crystal-coated vug is from the important historic Czar mine at Bisbee, Arizona. An early 20th century large output underground mine, it is not often that specimens are seen from this famous locality. The cavity is immaculate, with no discernible damage to the small glossy aggregated crystals. Around the edges the internal layering of the Azurite crust can be seen with different shades of blue, making for a really stunning, colourful, old-time Bisbee display. Big and extremely showy, colourful Azurite specimen is a classic from Arizona. It is from the Czar mine at Bisbee . This specimen is almost pure Azurite (with a little Malachite), forming a large slightly nodular mid-blue mass dominated by two sizable cavities lined with sparkling small deep blue Azurite crystals. The largest cavity reaches 6 x 5 cm in size.
