Lustrous partly gemmy beautiful green crystals of beryl, this is the variety known as emerald, embedded throughout a schist matrix. In great condition, this exhibits crystals on both sides of the specimen. Very choice for this Russian classic, the specimen comes with an antique label dating this to the very early 20th century. This is shown at the end of the video.
