Magma mine Baryte is a true Arizona classic. Known since at least the 1970s, the well-formed diamond-shaped tabular crystals have been found in a range of colours from dark brown through to golden amber, or paler yellow. However, it is the chocolate-brown ones like this beautiful small cabinet-sized display plate which are the most desirable due to their uniqueness. Not only does this fine piece present this rich colour, but the crystals are extremely glossy too, and sit wonderfully well as a not too cluttered arrangement on matrix. With just minor chipping to one or two crystals this is in extremely fine condition and simply exudes class.
