For a miniature specimen from Morenci mine in Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA you would struggle to find one with a bigger individual well-formed Azurite crystal positioned so well for display on matrix. This Azurite crystal reaches 2 cm across and has a really wonderful blocky tabular shape, with a lovely sloping bevelled corner. Added to this it has a fine deep blue colour with a glossy lustre and is undamaged with very slight natural alteration to green Malachite. Minor Cuprite occurs in the matrix.
