Quartz var. Amethyst$400.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This classic Amethyst-tipped sceptred Quartz crystal from Fat Jack Mine, Pine Grove Mining District, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA is not only a really great colour for the locality, but is a noteworthy size too, at 5.8 cm tall. As is typical of this site, the well-formed pyramidal-terminated Amethyst tip sits upon an opaque white 'stem'. The Amethyst crystal atop this piece shows areas, or zones, of a really intense gemmy purple, but what is almost nicer is the fact that this colour appears to occur in banded internal zones. The sceptre itself is somewhat less well defined, owing to the width of the underlying white Quartz stem, but it is none-the-less a really great crystal from this famous 1980s locality.
