Cerussite Twinned crystals
This is a superb, rare matrix-hosted specimen of twinned Cerussite crystals from Campbell mine at Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. Cerussite is rare at Bisbee, but Campbell mine produced a small amount of crystals, but these were usually off-matrix, or showed signs of damage. The Cerussite crystals on this lovely miniature reach 1.4 cm across in their longest direction, but this is essentially two twinned crystals alongside each other, with the largest twin being about 1.1 cm across. They sit perfectly for display upon a black and rusty orange gossan. A really top-class Bisbee Cerussite.
