This fantastic large cyclic-twinned Cerussite is from the classic world occurrence at Tsumeb mine. Off-matrix, at 7.4 cm in its longest dimension it is very good size, but is most impressive for its all-round quality as often these twinned crystal aggregates are damaged, or bruised, from poor handling or care. The aggregate is dominated by four main 'branches' off which other smaller crystals protrude. The main crystals present a fine silky sheen, or lustre, and show excellent development of sloping faces at the termination ends. Ex Weyand Collection.
