This impressive 4 carat octahedral Diamond crystal comes from Namibia and was in Martin Kershaw's superb collection. A matrixless individual crystal it is complete all round and presents an excellent crystal form, with complex stepped faces - some elevated, others hoppered with triangular patterns. The Diamond itself is colourless, but its stepped surfaces prevent one from being able to look through it. An excellent individual crystal that reaches 1 cm across in its longest direction. Probably mined during the 1960s or 1970s.
