This great small cabinet-sized crystal aggregate of classic teal-green/blue cubic Fluorite from Okorusu mine, Otjiwarongo District, Namibia is an interesting discovery within the Weyand Collection in Tsumeb. Clearly, not a recent find, it presents the beautiful translucency known from Okorusu mine, so that with back-lighting the vibrancy of colour and superb zonation really stands out. With green cores, the outer edges of the Fluorite cubes present a deep teal, to almost electric blue colour. The well balanced cluster of cubes features individual crystals reaching 2.5 cm on edge and although there is some minor chipping to crystals around the periphery it is in overall very good condition.
