This is a stunning, carved-looking quartz cluster featuring a pair of sharp, super glassy and totally transparent crystals with nearly perfect points! The duo has great aesthetic composition with the large, stout, 9.7 cm crystal standing vertical, as it would be displayed, and the shorter, 7.5 cm, thinner crystal angles across at the lower part of the larger one for dramatic display. The prism faces on both crystals are very lightly striated perpendicular to their length as is typical for most quartz and the pyramid faces at the termination are mirror-like. Superb quality - perhaps the best quality, or at least close to it, amongst so much more common material. These fabulous gemmy and clear crystals display very well. From the James Zigras collection (he is the owner of the mine).
