This is a beautiful large-miniature Herkimer quartz crystal cluster from New York consisting of five, sharp and distinct, doubly terminated crystals. They display the wonderful faceted-gem style for which these are world-famous. Clusters like this composed of multiple crystals are not common and these happen to be aesthetically stacked one upon the other. The individuals range in size from 1.5 to 3.2 cm. All of the crystals in this cluster are incredibly glassy with all of the crystals perfectly terminated on both ends. There are also a few black what we are interpreting as petroleum inclusions in a few of the crystals for added interest and aesthetics. The piece has great balance and aesthetics. It is from an old collection and was collected, we believe, in the 1980s-90s.
