Sphalerite with Galena on Dolomite$120.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
This might be a thumbnail specimen, but take a closer look as it is from the remarkable find of gemmy Sphalerite crystals found at Silvermines in Tipperary County, Ireland during the 1970s. The brightness and clarity of these golden-brown transparent to translucent Sphalerite crystals is simply exceptional. The largest crystal, a twin, reaches 5 mm across and a 4 mm wide Galena crystal sits alongside too on a layer on contrasting pale cream coloured Dolomite. Ex David Hardman Collection, no 4569.
