It really isn't very often that you see really well-crystallized zeolite mineral from Northern Ireland available for sale which makes this wonderful twinned Chabazite-Ca crystal from Ballymena a treat to behold. It comes from David Hardman's collection (no. 1265) and at 1.7 cm on edge the main rhombic crystal is very large for the species from anywhere in the British Isles, and both crystals in this twin are complete all round. A small piece of matrix attached to the back of the crystals compliments this wonderful toe-nail sized specimen.
