Presenting the classic cube + dodecahedron form for which the Josefa-Veneros vein, at Collada mine is most renowned. This superb cabinet-sized aggregate of crystals from the famous find on the 75 level is much darker in its overall colour than some of the pieces from this remarkable discovery. Nevertheless, it is its amazingly sculptural shape that really draws ones attention, looking like a living crystal model. Its dark purple colour is pretty much uniform throughout, without the blue internal glow of the very best crystals from there, and its lustre is pretty consistent too - reflective but not super glossy. Individually, the crystals reach up to 4 cm across and with intense back-lighting a rich purple glow can be seen from within.
