In 2007, an Italian mineral dealer worked a Fluorite vein (Piéma vein) near the Piboul mine at Gabrias, Mende, Lozère, Occitanie, France for mineral specimens. The product was intense amber coloured Fluorite crystals aggregated in pure Fluorite specimens. Reportedly, most specimens mined were miniature in size, making this small cabinet-sized specimen quite rich. Upon it, the Fluorite crystals reach up to 1.9 cm on edge and are very intensely coloured with good translucency. A very rich Fluorite from this relatively modern French discovery.
