About Hayter Cabinet

Hayter-Cabinet of Mineralogy is a private family study and collection devoted to mineralogy, form, and geologic history. Established in 2024, our cabinet reflects a shared fascination with crystalline structure, growth patterns, and the quiet record of Earth’s processes preserved in stone.

We are drawn to specimens that reveal their story: internal zoning, overgrowth, etched surfaces, and natural architecture shaped over millennia. Each piece is selected not only for aesthetic beauty, but for the geological narrative it represents.

The Hayter Cabinet is a living collection:  studied, curated, and preserved as part of an ongoing family exploration of the mineral world.
