A large and dramatic, towel-like celestine crystal cluster, from classic finds in the 1990s-early 2000s in southern Michigan. I also used to collect up here in the late 1980s and 1990s, and would have treasured something this size and quality but never found anything even close! This is a monster, and is nearly pristine with just tiny wear. More than the celestine itself, what makes it fascinating are the small inclusions of sulfur crystals within, sharp yellow crystals to about 5 mm. Collected by and long in the collection of Detroit-area collector, Robert Nowakowski.
