A large and dramatic Amethyst from Bolivia, from classic older finds in the 1990s that produced some great Amethyst pieces like this one! It is a substantial, six and a half inch crystal featuring a milky white bottom half that transitions into an upper half that is initially light purple grading into a richer, darker purple at the termination! The broad, lustrous and transparent to translucent termination dominates the piece and has a perfect point! There is also a three inch sidecar crystal of similar character, but is lighter purple. There are a couple of areas on the piece that show negative crystal impressions where it grew against other Amethyst crystals. This is a stunning large cabinet Amethyst single crystal point from Bolivia of unusually high quality with lack of damage, for this location.
