Celestine derives its name from the Latin word caelestis meaning celestial, which meaning sky, air, weather, atmosphere and heaven. It's a Sulfate mineral forming Othorhombic crystals mostly in tabular to pyramidal habits. This particular specimen is one of the best and aesthetic example in hundreds of pieces, as it featuring an incredibly well formed, impressive and perfect terminated crystal. The golden color Calcite attached as matrix giving this specimen an attractive and aesthetic visuals. It's acquired from an uncommon locality of Afghanistan as this such specie is mostly we saw coming from Africa and other worldwide localities. It's an indeed a very neat and adorable specimen for the specie from such locality.
