This item has two distinct crystals - a prehnite (the ball) and an epidote - the base. Both are valued collectible species but in this case the prehnite ball is the main attraction. The contrast between the two crystals, the perfect spherical shape of the prehnite and the tender green color make the specimen an interesting addition to a miniature collection, especially given the price.

Description
This rather fun miniature specimen from Mali comprises an almost perfect sphere of pale green Prehnite sat upon two darker green prismatic Epidote crystals. The Prehnite 'ball' measures almost 2 cm in diameter. Very few minerals form spherical masses making this an intriguing specimen.
