Description
A large pure aggregate of bright, lemon-yellow Native Sulphur crystals from the classic European region of Agrigento Province, Sicily, Italy. Large cabinet in size, the crystals reach 2 cm in size and are well formed and glossy, on a bed of massive Native Sulphur. Many large Native Sulphur specimens from Sicily are plagued with damage to individual crystals, but this one is in superb condition for its size. At nearly 800 grams this is a substantial piece. The exact locality is not known, but there were many famous producers of Native Sulphur crystals in Agrigento Province.
