Description

This is truly an incredible Cavansite specimen. There are many medium size plates on the market but as the size increases the quality decreases, but not so with this one. It has a luster and contrast that will WOW people across the room.

About Cavansite

The most significant and well-known sources of Cavansite today are found in the basalt quarries of the Wagholi complex near Pune, Maharashtra, India. Over the years, the availability of Cavansite specimens has decreased, with many quarries either closing or producing reduced quantities of this mineral. This decline has led to an increase in prices and the status of the mineral as an "old classic" among collectors. Recent discoveries at construction sites near the Wagholi quarries have brought new specimens to market, but they come at premium prices, reflecting their rarity and the limited nature of easy-to-access deposits.
