Tourmaline
A large tourmaline from the lesser known San Diego Mine. The specimen is the stereotypical watermelon color with a red interior and a green outer “rind” and cap. It is uncommon to find a specimen of this size from the San Diego Mine without any repairs or restorations since most pieces were broken from pockets collapsing over geologic time.
