Description
A beautiful cluster of juicy yellow Wulfenite crystals from the an unusual location: Onderra Mine in Namibia. This was an artisanal small mine worked by Charlie Key's crews in the mid 2000s (roughly 05-09); and he kept this for himself in his collection, which sold to Marshall Sussman and myself around 2010. It was part of his Namibian miniatures suite, and is really an excellent example from this locale! The crystal cluster is made up of 1 to 2 cm, bright yellow crystals that have a faint orange hue. The Wulfenites are thick tabular dominated by prominent pyramidal faces and no evidence of the basal faces which makes them somewhat unusual in the Wulfenite world. It is a sharp, bright cluster of approximately seven interlocking crystals with the more prominent crystal and a few others complete and the remaining few somewhat etched looking.
