Elbaite
Sapo tourmalines are one of the most famous tourmaline finds of all time, and specimens today are rarely available, in any size. This is a beautiful, multi-colored thumbnail with a distinctive zones of red/pink, light green, and blue. These blue-caps were the hit of the tourmaline market in the late 1990s, and no more have been found there to this day. From the worldwide thumbnail collection of Shields Flynn.
