The centerpiece of this specimen is a perfectly formed fluorite cube that sits proudly on a base of shiny sphalerite. The fluorite is flawless in shape and of an impressive size, making it an absolute highlight. The clear edges and crystalline structure of the cube are a testament to the exceptional growing conditions at the Elmwood Mine. The fluorite presents itself in a rich hue.

The color of the fluorite is enhanced by fine zoning, which makes the different growth phases of the crystal visible. This natural color gradation gives the piece an additional dimension and makes it really shine in different light. The translucent quality of the fluorite allows the light to penetrate and creates a soft shimmer that makes the piece appear alive.
