Several gemmy, leafy forest green to light candy pink Elbaite Tourmaline crystals are embedded in a white to colourless, double terminated Quartz crystal measuring to 5.5 cm long from Sapo mine, Ferruginha in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The width of the various Elbaite crystals varies markedly from thin and narrow to broad and chunky. Prisms are principally gemmy green and where they do change to pink, this is adjacent to the terminations.\n
