Just look how these three crystals are naturally joined together, you would think they are glued but they are not. The crystals are gemmy and the faces are smooth. This piece is a great start for a miniature quartz collection and would look lovely next to an Amethyst from Veracruz.

From the Smokey Bear locality in the Sacramento Mountains of New Mexico, USA, this Quartz locality lies within the boundary of Lincoln National Forest where mineral collecting is forbidden.
