This super display quality Elbaite crystal is from the Paprok pegmatite-rich area in Afghanistan. It is a single, detached crystal of Elbaite measuring 6 cm tall, showing some parallel growth and nicely vertically striated, with a magnificent three faced pyramidal termination. The specimen has great lustre and presents a gemmy appearance with colour zoning from translucent lime-green, passing into pink. An excellent display crystal of Elbaite Tourmaline.
