A delightful 6 cm long Tourmaline of classic light teal-blue grading to rich cranberry-red, typical of the Tourmaline mined during the 1960s and 70s from the Cruzeiro mine at São José da Safira, in the Doce Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The main Tourmaline crystal has three smaller crystals attached in parallel growth, emanating from the base. All crystals have deep vertical striations along their prism faces, are highly lustrous, reasonably gemmy and perfectly terminated. A beautiful example of these distinctly coloured Tourmalines from the Cruzeiro mine in Brazil.
