Description
This is a bright, gemmy, saturated color crystal showing multiple zones of amazing transparency and sparkly brilliance within. It is 53 grams of superb, sharp, glassy crystal. It is almost pristine, with just a few very tiny dings (which could be restored). As this is an old specimen of high quality. We have not bothered to restore those very tiny dings, and it is not "overlabbed" as some of these Russian tourmalines can be. The luster and the surface are so naturally beautiful that with the changes in color gradients it looks almost like a fancy liddicoatite from Madagascar! From an old collection based near Paris, this gem crystal probably came out in the early 2000s.
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
