Plumbogummite ps Pyromorphite

Perched on a thin septum of limonite matrix (unusual!) are a cluster of prismatic, sky blue crystals of plumbogummite after pyro, to 4.3 cm in length. The large crystal clearly exhibits hopper growth at the termination while the smaller crystals exhibit incipient hopper growth. Evidence of the original pyromorphite growth can be seen toward the rear of the specimen. As with most of these, there is a bit of minor damage at the lower periphery as shown. The core crystals here retain unusually sharp and complete terminations compared to most in the pocket. This is, actually, better in person when you can see the full dimensionality.
