Bright, metallic, machined-sharp hematite crystals make for a perfect, complete-all-around miniature here. The large crystal is just about 3 cm across. The luster is truly stunning, and bright, of a quality seldom found. It is likely older material from the 1980s from the look of it, although we are not sure (Gamini got it by 2010 from a collection). The piece is a superb miniature, painting as a bonus. Includes original watercolor painting by Gamini Ratnavira, as shown in 6x6 inch custom frame (he used to do commission paintings for mineral collectors in Southern California primarily, and charged $500-750 per painting).
