Fluorite with Calcite$1,800.00

Collected in early 2020, the very saturated, bright green color of fluorite makes this pocket, from the famous Yaogangxian Mine, really stand out from other finds both before and after. The color on these is special, not too dark nor too light, and somehow with a hue that is more intense and visible from further away than the usual green hues we see from this mine. Although we have many green fluorites, these are special, partly because the best specimens of this pocket, in our opinion, are those with the pleasing accent and contrast of sharp white calcite discs atop. This accentuates the green all the more, and it is fun to look into the depths of the crystal as it is bracketed by the white calcite above. The fluorite is to 4.5 cm on edges. A fine example in the size and price range.
