Description
From the Ed David label: "Quartz, cluster of sharp smoky crystals (Indian head dress); dark coloring due to inclusions of acicular tourmaline and/or sandy stibnite." This is actually a FLOATER cluster, and it measures 8 inches in length! One of the crystals is a very strange sceptered form, as if the inside has been etched out, but leaving a core at the center, with a phantom clearly showing at the top. Overall, really has wonderful aesthetics as well as being a fine locality piece for US quartz. This is a SIGNIFICANT specimen for a Washington quartz.
